...I believe that it will be very soon! sooner or LATER. All bugs now are dead; I hope, thanks to the Beta Testers and QA's - and ofcourse to those who fixed it. Goodbye Nasty Bugs.

Well according to the Project Tracker there is only one Bug that is still outstanding, but a revision for it has since been released. The only thing keeping it outstanding, AFAIK, is that it's awaiting feedback. The rest are just features.

So yes, it's safe to assume that the release is going to be sooner.

Our roadmap is huge, btw. We have features listed down on it for development into 2011.

At least we know that SimpleDesk is going to be around for a while then.

Thats what it seems like anyways. I don't think there is any part of SD that the Beta Testers haven't beat to hell.

At this point I don't think there is any new surprises that are going to pop up and cause a road block. And since it's basically feature-frozen there isn't any new inclusion that is going to take time to get in the way of release.

Hmm....I wonder if people could create badges and release packs of them on SMF like they do with avatars.

Though offering them on SimpleDesk would be cool too, especially if there were packs already installed with the software.

Oh man, it looks beautiful! I'm really loving all the shiny features that are in there, and I love the UI it has. Great job for the devs and for the Beta Testers that beat their hard work to biscuits.

For some reason I thought about this today, and lo and behold:

I think it's time we launch Operation: Get More Girls. B can make more female-targeted marketing strategies.

Well to counteract the real-life "problem" (since it's not really that big of a deal) I know for my host you can add other accounts to your hosting account and give them limited notifications (like only Support emails, or only General and Domain Notifications). I don't know about Solar but if needed, and available, there is that option.

That aside, Douglas and Arantor are right. Sever announcements made by Site staff on websites aren't a requirement. The fact they do tell us in advance is a privilege and they do so of their own interests.

I don't blame them for not releasing the information. I just get worried when nothing is said though. But as long as I know that the staff knows that everything is ok then i'm fine.

On a totally unrelated note to that... VP/COO of a company? Kudos to you, Douglas.
