I really thought I made it obvious enough when designing that UI. Chalk up another thing to put in big letters in the next UI.

I got same error and spent already 30 mins trying to figure out, how to enable new user to use HelpDesk. Can't do it :-(
Using SMF 2.0.2

By default the system displays only 10 tickets per page and then I have to click on page "2", "3", ...
I want to display about 30-40 tickets per page.
Is it possible?

I tried to find setting for that. Can't find.
I tried to find code, limiting that number. Can't find.

If you are using rc3 then the Helpdesk link should have appeared in the menu. is it there?
I activated module in Core features.
I can't see any menu.
Is there direct link for SimpleDesk?
I am using SMF 2.0 RC5

Ok, i got answer:

QuoteAdmin > Packages > Browse Packages > in the lower right corner of the screen, there's an option called Advanced. Click it, you get a text box with the version in it - change it from RC5 to RC3.

Failing that, wait for the next version which will be out shortly.

SimpleDesk Support / Can't install Help Desk

Currently only two versions of SMF available:
1.1.13 and 2.0 RC5
I installed both of them
and tried to install the only available version of SimpleDesk (simpledesk-1.0) to both of them
And each time see message:
"The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF."

So, is there any way i can install it?

Also, is there a live demo exists for SimpleDesk?

I did, I emulated RC3 and installed the package through the web interface.
Can you hint me - how to "emulate" different version?
