tyty1234: I'm not SleePy (Well, I am sleepy, just woke up :P), but I would say that you do not need to credit him. It's already done in atleast two places in Curve (error log, and the message index, though that is a table with another method).

I'll set up a Site Comment board shortly. :)

1), 2) I don't have time to look into these. They might be RC2 bugs, give it a search. :)

3) Yes, we have decided to keep our bug tracker publicly visible. :)

If I understand clearly it's simliar to "SMF Project Tools" but a ticket system? Am I correct?

It's more like a helpdesk for support. Google is your friend if you want more info on what that is. :)
But yeah, it can be used like a bug tracker of sorts as well.

O.o Whats "SMF Project Tools"? That sounds cool.

A bug tracker modification for SMF, made by Niko. We use it here. :)

I'd encourage you to wait for our revised version (It's coming soon). It will be perfectly safe to have in your signature without increasing the page load in the topics you post in too much.
It's not spamming in any way. :)

Welcome, all of you :)

I saw the link in Arantor's sig on SMF, and he talked about it on his thread in the Dev Blog, and when I saw it I got really excited. :) I was hoping that SimpleDesk would have a Forum to go with it, and when I saw Arantor's new sig I just had to join. So here I am. ;D

It does seem like Arantors sig is dragging lots of people this way. :D

We do not yet have any public release date set. But keep your eyes out for updates. :)

Oh, so like it can be added to any site? ???

Any SMF powered forum, yes. And it can run just like a usual mod, with the forum intact, or shut down the forum and run only like a helpdesk.

At last, someone is working with this "support ticket system". :) Keep it up, I'm just confused and I'm not good with SMF, is this compatible with 1.1.11x? Sorry if I missed it out.

Thank you in advanced.

I'm afraid it is not. With the release of SMF 2.0 Final closing in, most mod authors, including us, are moving on.

I just have a little question about the "Shut down forum component". Are you saying that if the forum was in Maintenance Mode staff members who have permission to solve tickets can still access the HelpDesk?

Not really, no. As far as I know, maintenance mode works just like before.
What it does, it shutting down all forum components, leaving only one big helpdesk.

I always intended to have language specific support boards, but we have not decided yet.
