Arantor kind of understood my initial question, then missed it again.
I know where the assign button is located on the ticket page.
What i meant was, the possibility of just assigning a ticket to a random member instead of a staff.
Take for instance, you have a ticket that a person who is not a staff can solve,
How would you assign the ticket to the person since he or she is not on the staff ?

You can have a link on every profile that says assign ticket, which only admin or special membergroups can see.
Then the link takes you to ticket page where you now select the ticket you would wanna assign to this person.
Its not a major feature, Just that i tried yesterday and figured out that only the staff can get tickets assigned to them.

Yes, if you want to assign a ticket to a member, irrespective of the permission of his membergroup ?
Just like picking out a random member to assign ticket to ?

Arantor, how about assigning tickets to individuals, maybe through their profiles ?
That possible ?

I get it.
I actually ditched everything sef url because i usually run into trouble after using it for long.
one mod or the other usually conflicts with all of them and i recall getting a confirmation to that fro you.

I see, so its adviceable to make urls look pretty against possible slow loading due to more heavy mods like the pretty urls ?

Arantor, I am a little curios as to why the simpledesk website uses a SEF url.
Since i i know you as a major critic of such urls.

Thanks, gents.  Arantor's right... the site isn't hosted directly by us, though it is through one of our customers.  And yes, this is a customer that I am rather fond of working with (I've worked with him for almost three years and love giving that bugger grief, hahaha).

I don't want to identify who it is, HOWEVER, if you do a DNS lookup on the IP that this site is hosted under, you'll see who it's hosted with.

Who is the customer Doug, Any link to reach him/her ?

My forum is kind of beginning to get 300 to 400 posts daily.
I think i will need the spaces some day.
I also plan to add some more heavy mods like this SD.
I am already running Arcade and Media mods.
I was with some vpsland.com whose CS is the poorest i have seen.
Plus i hate plesk which is the only thing they offered.
My new host offers good CS and Fast too..
