when you install smf to i.e. htdocs/smf
thats the folder where ssi.php can be found.

it has some subfolders (packages / sources / themes / ...)

I suggest: put that file in the same folder as ssi.php

yes it is!
I just asked for that code so I might look into SD as is at the moment to check if I could see myself doing some of the coding. At least some of the smaller "jobs" to help getting this forward. (to see if I can handle SD I wouldn't need the newest build but to check if I can do some of the missing stuff)
#20
is there a way we might get the newest build and have a look at the code? maybe we can help with some stuff
#21
I'm sure you can give rights to see the latest rev but not to commit new stuff.
#22
what if that people only read and do not commit to the same place but a trunk or something? haven't used svn much yet so i can't tell if it's possible to manage rights like that. else they just should not be able to commit but submit their code elsewhere so it can be reviewed.

Anyway I can help? SimpleDesk is still one of the best projects out there for SMF, IMO, and if there is anyway I can contribute to help keep the ball rolling please let me know.

Wish you a good time and lots of new challenges ;)

was just a thought. I'm sure that simpledesk does great without it.

but it's about feedback here and the integration we use at the company I work uses this. So i thought it might be good to mention

That's what ticket assignment is for.

you can assign to multiple people? on lack of enough people.... i  couldn't test yet :(
#27
i know your motivations gone. but just got something to my mind i'd like to share.

what about delegating a ticket to others. means you are assigned for the ticket and resposible that it gets solved but maybe you lack some knowledge and need someone to help you with the task. so you delegate it to someone else how has to respond to you about that ticket.

Thanks.
If I got it right, all the stuff I mentioned or am waiting for is included in 1.1 as Blog-Post says.

Only your last post confuses me a bit.

Thats mainly the reason why I'm not sure what will be and what won't.

Im using SD on two SMF Installations:

1: It's a forum quite inacitve at the moment due to me spending my time with other projects than this. Its goal is to produce is nice little browsergame. It actually looks like I have to do everything on my own so I have to find people that would like to give commetns and feedback on the stuff Im going to code.
I want to use SimpleDesk there for different Reports and with SD 1.0 I'm just fine there. Could not test much as there are no people that could Report stuff. And if I find something that has to be fixed... I fix it rather than report and fix after.

2: It's a multigaming forum. We want to use SD for Bug / Player Reports and everything that only Staff should see. Something like Categories would be great and is I understood its planned for 1.2. The new Permissions planned for 1.1 is great for our plans. Because for every Game hosted there is a different team and it would be easier to assign groupgs and everything.
