Title: SD question.
Post by: SN on March 21, 2010, 07:26:46 AM
Hi,

I wasn't really interested in SimpleDesk before today because i thought i didn't need it, but something came up on my forum lately and i though, Ah simpledesk might be able to do that.

I was wondering if Simpledesk has an option where you can allow unapproved members to post a ticket.

So for example you have members set to approval on your forum, they cannot post until they have activated there account.

But say there was a problem with the activation email or they didn't receive it, will it be possible for them to use Simple desk to let us know?

No, it doesn't, and I don't expect it to do so for a while, it would involve some large-ish changes to SMF's authentication system.

It's a good question, just one we can't really factor in at this time :(
