Title: multiple permission sets
Post by: Anhur on February 10, 2012, 07:39:51 PM
I've been trying to give one membergroup two different permission sets, depending on the department. Is this possible, I cannot get it to work?

In my test setup you can see in the image below, Testgroup 1 can only see Department Area 2, but not Area 1.

Sure it's possible, you've set it up correctly in that respect (two roles, one group attached to each)

But when you say 'can only see area 2', did you make area 1 visible on the board index?

Both departments are set to visible on the board index.

The testgroup can also not select area 1 department when submitting tickets from the menu

Strange, it works for me exactly as it should when trying to recreate this set up...
