Is there a graphics team I could join? I have some of the best graphics programs such as Photoshop, Flash, and Fireworks. I can show you some of my projects if needed.

Indeed - he designed the theme this site uses, as well as the bulk of SimpleDesk's UI. I was just strictly keeping it to the OP's question...
I could make more than just the wallpaper you already have, I can create different logos, I can do just about anything you ask, OTHER than SMF themes. (Don't ask why, probably because I don't know CSS or PHP too well. :P
It might be worth you trying the mod out first and getting to know it before trying to help promote it...
Hmm... I could TRY to install it on my forum. :P I am trying to find a job (Like a hobby) in graphic design, unpaid, of course.
You're using SMF For Free, right? You can't install mods on that IIRC and even if you could, this mod is 2.0 only and SMF For Free is based on 1.1.x.
I'm just thinking that if you're going to offer artistic skills, that you're aware of what it is you're designing for before you start designing anyway.
The programs you have do not matter, it is what you are capable of producing with them that is the interesting part.
Anyone can get Photoshop and Firework, not everyone are able to produce something that do not make me feel sick. If you *really* want to try to help us out, some examples of your work would help.
Besides, we don't really have the need for a graphics team. The actual SimpleDesk modification has all the stuff it needs in the LED icon set, and this site has all the graphics required to look good.

I may have misunderstood the whole concept of "logo", but do we not already have one? If you ask me, there's no need for several logos. There's no use for several logos.
Variations of the default one, used in different types of promotional graphics - Sure, I already did that a little on our last wallpaper (the cracks on the logo, and the whole typography idea).
But yeah, I do not think we need any graphics team. The stuff we *need*, we have, and the cool promotional artwork we sometimes do is not enough to require a whole team (even if it's just you and me), IMO.

Well, as far is I know you have been in EzP documentation lead forever but EzP doesn't seem to have a documentation out...
Also, I think I might have a screenshot of what you shot at me in the EzP forums that will change the views of the people here. Your comments were one of the reasons, I pulled out my guide to EzP and left the site.

PS: I have the complete CS4 suite and could get CS5 if I wanted too. But even with all those programs, I admit that I stink with graphics and whenever I see people like Nas and Liam making themes, I stop and admire ;)

I have experience in other fields and also, I admit what I suck at and that's graphics.
By the way, I made it to the UP team because of they were looking for someone like me and I have already done some major work for them, planning on writing some of the documentation soon.
Also, I never asked to join the SMF team and, I only ever asked for beta testing of SD, BUT I never submitted an official application.
PS: I love the picture of a cat on the bottom right and the new icons in post and topic areas.
