I've already tested SimpleDesk on it and nothing is jumping at me as broken thus far.

Atleast thats good news, then I can re-install it shortly.

Sadly about 3/4 of my modifications are "outdated" now (Hopefuly mod author updates them) and that includes DP + SP and all the other portals I tried after those two failed.

So nice, SD community forums should update :D

shaiss,

This beta is only available to our beta testers. The public release of SimpleDesk is coming soon. :)

In addition to that ^^^,  to check the current % of the development of SimpleDesk click HERE

When this reaches 100%, a public release should be out.

Note: This % can go up/down frequently as beta testers and what not report bugs and as they get fixed. - So check it regularly.

I have a question; after the Beta Testers and the QA people check the SD 1.0, will it be out in the public directly? Or does it have to be  approved by SMF first? :D

They don't need permission from SMF as they are not redistributing SMF, its a modification which you install via admin cp.

You only need written permission from SMF if you are re-releasing some of the SMF stuff.

Uh, this happened before the recession.

That can't be proven, its been stated that we was in recession way before it broke out to the public, also they say we're out of it but people still say we're still in recession.

But you could be right ;)

You know the sickening part about the 2012 logo (the first one)? £400,000 (not $400k, note) of TAXPAYER's money went on that.

The side logo Treznax posts is one I'm seeing more and more but even so it's still very much a side logo. Sad part is, it's infinitely better since it has the association with the 5 rings, plus the link to London (the band is basically the shape of the river Thames)

£400,000 = $605,540 (Approx)

Jesus, ain't the goverment heard of Resession???

Jesus crist.

What is going on with the metropolitan police these days???

They're going power hungry.

Britian is part of the EU, the EU (Months ago) passed a law stating no police can random search people as it violates peoples right to privacy.

Britans reaction "No, our police force will random search no matter what EU says as its decreased crime rates bla bl abla"

Now this drone ? They're power seeking xD

At the start of each year Forum-Software.org (A forum comparison website) starts a poll for the best forum software of the year.

Now that we've entered 2010 (A while ago), they've released the results for 2009's poll.

The winner for the best free forum software of 2009 was SimpleMachines forums

Lets all thank all of the staff and editors (Such as SD, SP, DP, DZ etc...) of SMF for making this forum software such a success.
