By default the system displays only 10 tickets per page and then I have to click on page "2", "3", ...
I want to display about 30-40 tickets per page.
Is it possible?

It's a user preference, Profile > Helpdesk > Preferences > Look and Layout > Blocks Display
If I recall you can override the default figures in Subs-SimpleDesk.php where the rest of the prefs are defined, e.g. look for blocks_assigned_count as one of the preferences that should be set.
At least, that's how I seem to remember writing it a couple of years ago (that would be about when I implemented prefs, anyway)
