Title: SD on Standalone

I am guessing this project can run as a standalone site to offer helps to people.
I am right ?

The short answer is yes. :) SimpleDesk is a modification for SMF, so the forum software is required to run it. It does, however, give administrators the opportunity to shut down the forum and use only the help desk.

It's still a forum mod and still requires SMF, however you can disable all the forum bits so you have what looks like a helpdesk.

But it's a helpdesk that instantly can take advantage of bridges to other systems that are already there, as well as being styleable with themes (as we've already shown)

Oh, i know that it still requires SMF to run on.
But You guys answered my question anyway.

Just trying to know if one can have something like

www.gethelponline.com.
Then use SD as the only functional Feature.

Well, that domain is a landing page with a search box and ads... not sure it's quite what you're thinking of.

Imagine something like http://www.osticket.com/tour/ actually. That's just a helpdesk system.
