Why was it difficult for you just to remain silent there ?

Because of an argument that arose where I felt I had to justify (repeatedly) how I felt on an issue and in any case I don't need a voice there any longer.

Imagine readers which have read a post of a guest Arantor
and wish to get in touch with him
or with a community where Arantor is accepted.

Where they go to ?
What they could click to go to the desired destination ?

There is a risk you will never get in touch with them
having become a guest without access to your profile.

You punished additionally both yourself and your potential buddies.

Gruffen

I am not going to argue about this. I did the right thing for me. I do not wish to be a part of that community any longer, just as I do not intend to return to simplemachines.org. I am rather happy here and have no need to visit other forums at this time.

Are you capable to respect my similar desire
to place my posts of our dialogues
mainly on my forum ?

For this purpose I need at least one your post on my forum.

Gruffen

I can make a single post there if you wish but that is all I would be doing; I have an awful lot of things to do here, not elsewhere.

I wish.
Currently it is the only chance for you
to get notifications of my replies only
from your defended gritoadmix.

Gruffen

But if you are going to reply, would you not reply here instead?

In this case the subscribers to ~Arantor to Gri~ gritoadmix
                 of my forum
will not be awared of our dialogue continuation.

Gruffen

If you want to link them, link the thread.

There is no need to keep quoting back and forth, all it does is make it harder to communicate, and to be honest, I'm not sure it's something we want to encourage here on SimpleDesk.net.

My original posts should be placed on grivitational forums only.

In general it is a requirement of first priority.
Because the operability of the links to posts placed on other forums
is not guaranteed by default smf without ~Freedom of Moving Thoughts~ mod.

Gruffen

Well, the Freedom of Moving Thoughts mod is one I haven't seen and won't allow anyone to install here without looking through the code first (same goes for any mod, really, someone should be looking at it before installation)

As for quoting and posts, I'm not about to join another forum to spread myself thinner in the digital void. My posts stay here and no, I'm not going to post over there, nor enter into discussion on it. My posts stay here, where I stay.

To be honest, I have enough to do with writing SimpleDesk to worry about grivitations so I guess the conversation ends here. I will leave the thread open in case you wish to talk to others, however I will no longer be participating in grivitations.

Trekkie101,

remove Arantor from administrator group please.

Gruffen

Gri: I would have to step down as Developer also in that case, meaning SimpleDesk would take a lot longer to develop.

Gri please play nice. Arantor is crucial around here and we will not be removing his administrator access.
