Quote from: Zaphod on June 25, 2022, 08:11:48 PMBut my point earlier is Simple Machines are showing version 2.1 and claiming compatible with 2.0.19 as show previously in screenshot.

SimpleDesk is compatible with both 2.0 and 2.1, however only the certain versions are.

Basically you just need to match either 2.0 with 2.0, and 2.1 with 2.1, instead of 2.1 with 2.0 etc.

Quote from: RickDangerous on April 19, 2022, 08:11:04 AMHi.

Hijacking this thread. SimpleDesk does work via Safari. But when I was trying to use Opera Browser (yes I am the weird one for liking Opera so much) I managed to open the main window and then everything froze. At first, I had to restart my computer but then it was "enough" to force lock the window. Should I stick to Safari or is there anything I can try doing to make it work with Opera?

I just installed the latest version of Opera, and it's working fine with 2.0 and 2.1 RC2.

Can you provide any extra details, what version of Opera you are using etc?

Hi Mike,

That is by design, Release Candidate releases are not final, and therefor the admin centre will promote the latest final release instead, which in this case is 2.0.

Once 2.1 goes into final release, than the admin centre will begin advertising that as the latest to upgrade to.

Quote from: BarneyRubble on January 04, 2022, 04:10:11 AMI would like to bump this question up by adding my own. Will it work on Mac iOS? Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was left without Windows PC but with MacAir and now I am looking to set up my work environment and not go crazy.

Since it's browser based, it works with anything with a web browser (Windows/Mac OS/Linux).

Quote from: rcane on December 05, 2021, 12:59:46 PMBefore I attempt an install I'd just need to ask if 2.0.18 works on there.  The MOD page shows it skip over 18 and go to 2.1 RC3 I think.

Select the version 2.0 as it's built for all version of SMF 2.0

2.1 only works with SMF 2.1 RC4.

General Discussion / Re: Different platforms availability

You could access it via Safari or Chrome. There isn't a native App however.

As for the cross platform, since it's browser based mod for Simple Machines Forum, anything that has a web browser can access it.

Sounds good. I get people asking for support in Announcements and in other peoples topics asking for random help. So I get the idea this will come in very handy, at least for me.

I used to have about 100 pictures from digital blasphemy going every 5 seconds on my old pc, but now that I'm using my dad's I keep it simple.

Would like a pic to go across both my monitors but I can't find a decent one as they are both different sizes. 1600x900/1440x900

Uninstall SimpleDesk 1.0 and Install SimpleDesk 1.1 when it comes out.

You won't loose any data because it's all saved in the database.

Mmhmm, nope i was wrong, installing Project tools first will allow me to install simpledesk fine.

Another modification you have installed must be causing this problem, because its fine on a vanilla 2.0 RC3
